Most of my Chilli plants are outside. But this year the storms and high winds have played havoc with plants ...ripping of leaves and even knocking plants over.

Thus I kept about 8 potted plants on a bay window. The trouble is they just kept on growing. Eventually they blocked most of the light from the eight foot by five foot window. When the green fly started to take hold as well it became time to expel them from the house.

So I left the plants in the pots and cut off some of the "runners". It was difficult as many of the plants had become entwined. I moved them to an area beside a fence under an oak tree and tied them to an old piece of trellis work. Hopefully they will survive and produce fruit!
